Hartland to introduce scholarships in 2017March 13, 2017, 6:55 am GMT
Hartland International School has announced the launch of a scholarship programme, which is due to commence at the beginning of the 2017/18 academic year.
A total of 10 scholarship places, with a lifespan of three years, will be available for students across Years 6,7 and 8.
The value of the scholarship equates to 100% of fees in the first year and 50% of fees in the second and third years.
Applications are invited from students who can demonstrate excellence in academics, the arts, sports, or matters pertaining to community, civic duty, global citizenship, or cultural sensitivity.
Applications should be submitted in writing by the student and include a minimum of 300 words and no more than 1,000 words, outlining why they are worthy of the scholarship. The application should be supported by any available evidence that demonstrates excellence in the area of application.
The last date for applications is March 23, 2017, and a scholarship panel, chaired by professor Ralph Tabberer will consider the applications.
Launched in 2015, Hartland International School offers the British curriculum, and is led by principal Fiona Cottam.
