Aldar Academies to open more affordable schools; establishes Aldar EducationOctober 11, 2017, 5:05 am GMT
Private school operator Aldar Academies has said it plans to open more affordable schools by 2019, alongside the establishment of Aldar Education, a parent company which will lead its education strategy.
Aldar Academies, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week, currently operates seven schools in Abu Dhabi, three of which have been rated Outstanding by ADEK: Al Bateen Academy, Al Muna Academy, and Al Mushrif School, which was incorporated with Al Mamoura Academy in 2016.
Since 2007, Aldar Academies has invested over AED 1 billion in education, catering to over 6,500 students and employing close to 1,000 members of staff.
In September this year, Aldar Academies also took over the operations of four ADNOC Schools in Abu Dhabi and the Al Dhafra region, making the company one of the largest education providers in the emirate. The partnership has added 7,000 new students and 1,000 staff to Aldar Academies' network.
Aldar Academies CEO Nilay Ozral commented: "During our ten years of excellence, I'm proud to say that Aldar Academies has made a lasting contribution to Abu Dhabi's emergence as one of the very best destinations in the world for education. This progress is thanks to the commitment of our magnificent teaching team, our passion in finding the most effective ways to teach, and our investments in the most advanced education facilities available. This commitment has allowed our students to thrive, which is precisely what we are aiming for from our next ten years and beyond."
